The Sound of Violet will help people to see human trafficking and autism through a new lens. More people are enslaved today than at any other time in world history, with the majority of them being girls and women. The Sound of Violet is a romantic dramedy that connects audiences to the critical issues woven through the film. The story is based on the novel that has won numerous awards and was named “Best Romantic Comedy” and won two Book of the Year Awards.
In our digital world, most movies appear and get buried just as quickly on a streaming service. Launching our film first in theaters can make a more lasting impact.
After advance test screenings, 100% of the surveyed audience said the movie helped them understand more about trafficking and autism, while 80% said the story drove them to want to do something to stop trafficking. When audiences experience The Sound of Violet in theaters, the movie will inspire them to make a difference.
The best way to start this movement is by first launching The Sound of Violet in mainstream movie theaters around the U.S., where it would play for an entire week and more if it became popular. This way, we can partner with anti-trafficking organizations and autism groups to increase support for their work, and we'll engage audiences to these local organizations through the screenings. If the film builds an enthusiastic audience, it will continue to play in those theaters and will add additional theaters around the U.S.
We are targeting cities that are the top places where human trafficking occurs. If we reach our financial goals, your gifts toward each new level of funding will pay for the marketing and theatrical bookings to launch in these cities in AMC and Regal movie theaters to spread awareness about trafficking and autism. The Sound of Violet has been rated PG-13. Read on for special incentives for your involvement.
The Sound of Violet would begin its theatrical run on April 29, 2022. The amount we raise will determine the reach of our movie, and your gift can be 100% tax-deductible through our partnership with From The Heart Productions. This non-profit organization supports films that have a positive impact on the world. And, you can give this sneak preview as a thoughtful Christmas gift that makes a difference!
The more funds we raise, the more people we'll reach. Revenue from these screenings will go toward launching and marketing the movie into even more theaters.
We’ve created special incentives to show our gratefulness that you’re helping us bring The Sound of Violet to a movie theater near you! Purchase a ticket above to help launch this movement. To make your gift tax-deductible, first give through our partner non-profit site here and you'll receive a special code to redeem your ticket.
